Therapeutic Exercises

Therapeutic exercises are movements and physical activities designed to restore function and flexibility, improve strength and decrease pain and can help to enable ambulation, mobilize joints, improve circulation and respiratory capacity, reduce rigidity, improve balance and coordination.

Neuromuscular therapy, known as NMT, is an integral form of treatment for patients with neuromuscular disorders such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease. The physical, occupational, and other therapies that are part of NMT help you stay active, manage your symptoms, and reduce relapse. Neuromuscular reeducation also plays a major role in the rehabilitation of our patients. Using the proper techniques, activities and exercises on an injured body part will prevent acute injury from developing into a chronic problem.
