Help & FAQs

Why do I need multiple sessions?

Many tattoos have layers of ink, stacked on top of each other within the skin. This thick concentration of pigment particles cannot be completely broken down in one session. At each session, we will break up as much ink as possible producing some level of fading. If your tattoo has shading, the shaded areas will vanish in fewer treatments because shaded tattoos have a lower ink density.

Is chiropractic treatment safe?

Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest nondrug, noninvasive forms of health care available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. The risks associated with chiropractic, however, are very small. Many patients feel immediate relief following chiropractic treatment, but some may experience mild soreness, stiffness or aching, just as they do after some forms of exercise. Current research shows that minor discomfort or soreness following spinal manipulation typically fades within 24 hours.

Is chiropractic treatment appropriate for children?

Yes, children can benefit from chiropractic care. Children are very physically active and experience many types of falls and blows from activities of daily living as well as from participating in sports. Also, pediatric chiropractic care can help with asthma, breathing difficulties and allergies, improve spinal posture and child's ability to concentrate, assist with behavioral disorders and enhance emotional well-being.

Is physical therapy painful?

For many patients, one of the primary objectives is pain relief. This is frequently accomplished with hands-on techniques, modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and/or heat or cold therapy. In some cases, physical therapy techniques can be painful. For example, recovering knee range of motion after total knee replacement, or any other serious injuries or surgeries.

How is the Medical Weight Loss program different from other programs?

There are two primary differences you will find compared to other weight loss programs. First, it is a physician-supervised program. Dr. Inna, who is extensively trained in the medical science of weight loss, can treat your weight within the context of your total health profile. Second, our program does not focus on just one aspect of weight loss. We take a comprehensive, holistic approach that includes food, exercise, and behavioral modification.
