As a new patient adult visiting a chiropractor for the first time, you can expect a thorough assessment and evaluation of your condition to determine the best course of treatment. Here’s what you can generally expect during a chiropractic adjustment session:

Patient History: The chiropractor will begin by taking your medical history, including details about your current symptoms, previous injuries, lifestyle factors, and any relevant medical conditions.
Physical Examination: The chiropractor will conduct a physical examination, which may involve checking your posture, evaluating your range of motion, assessing spinal alignment, and performing orthopedic and neurological tests. They may also request diagnostic imaging or refer you for further tests if needed.
Treatment Plan: Based on the assessment findings, the chiropractor will develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. This plan may include chiropractic adjustments, as well as other therapeutic modalities such as soft tissue therapy, stretches, exercises, and lifestyle recommendations.
Chiropractic Adjustment: If deemed appropriate, the chiropractor will perform chiropractic adjustments. This typically involves manual manipulation techniques, where the chiropractor applies controlled force to specific joints or areas of the spine to restore alignment, improve joint function, and alleviate pain. The adjustments are typically done using the chiropractor’s hands, but specialized instruments may also be used.

Is chiropractic treatment safe?
Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest nondrug, noninvasive forms of health care available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. The risks associated with chiropractic, however, are very small. Many patients feel immediate relief following chiropractic treatment, but some may experience mild soreness, stiffness or aching, just as they do after some forms of exercise. Current research shows that minor discomfort or soreness following spinal manipulation typically fades within 24 hours.

What to expect at my first visit?
Upon entering the Ageless Body Clinic, our Administrative Assistant will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our patient forms first, and then you will have a consultation and examination with the Doctor of Chiropractic. As a conclusion of the examination you can choose to experience your first treatment. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, or therapeutic massage.

Do insurance plans cover chiropractic?
Yes. Chiropractic care is included in most health insurance plans, including major medical plans, workers’ compensation, Medicare, and some Medicaid plans. At Ageless Body Clinic we accept all major health insurance plans.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy

Clients must provide a valid credit card to secure their appointment at Ageless Body Clinic.
The card is charged only if cancellation policy terms are breached.
Appointments will be automatically cancelled if policy agreement and credit card details are not received 48 hours prior to the appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Clients should notify the clinic 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
For Procedures: A $150 fee will be charged for cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the appointment.
For Consultations: A $50 deposit is required, forfeited for cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours.

Consultation Deposit

The $50 deposit will be deducted from the treatment cost if the client proceeds.
If the client does not proceed, the deposit covers the consultation cost.

No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notice will invoke the cancellation policy.

Late Arrival Policy

Arrivals more than 1 hour late without 24-hour notice are treated as no-shows, incurring a $150 fee or forfeiting the $50 consultation deposit.
For late arrivals within 1 hour, the clinic will attempt to accommodate; however, appointments may be rescheduled or shortened without additional charges.

Exceptions

The clinic may make exceptions for severe weather, illness, or other emergencies.

Refund Policy

No refunds are provided for services or products; only exchanges are allowed.
A 10% administrative fee applies to all refunds.
Emergency-based refunds require verifiable documentation and are subject to a review process (up to 48 hours).
